Do you remember when you were a kid and how you felt about your first day back to school? It was always hard to get to sleep and stay asleep! I remember being filled with anticipation. What was my new teacher going to be like? Would he/she (usually a she) like me? What friends were going to be in my class? There was no computer, no facebook, no twitter, no email, no text messaging, and in fact I wasn't really "allowed" to use the telephone (rotary dial) unless I had a reason to!
Times have changed...but some things never change!
Fast foward 40-50 years and I'm still filled with anticipation...and up early because I couldn't sleep! lol! Imagine that! Heading back to school today and I feel like a kid all over again...and that's a good thing!
